Interpretation As Books The Last Days of Lorien (Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files #5)

Discover what really happened in the final days of the doomed planet from the eyes of Sandor—who would go on to become the reluctant Cêpan to Number Nine. Before Number Four and the others arrived on Earth, they lived on the planet Lorien. A planet filled with others who also had extraordinary abilities. A peaceful planet––until the day the Mogadorians attacked, and nearly annihilated, the Loric people. Only a handful of Loric survived the battle. This is Sandor’s story. Sandor was tired of being a teenager, tired of going to school and obeying his teachers and playing by his parents' rules. He enjoyed breaking the rules rather than following them. But when he makes one mistake too many, Sandor's life takes an unexpected turn, and he is forced join the Lorien Defense Academy. Sandor had never believed in the crazy idea that Lorien needed to defend itself—Lorien was a peaceful planet, with no apparent enemies. But when Mogadorians suddenly attack, Sandor learns how real that threat was. Now Sandor is one of only a handful of Loric left alive, and the fate of Lorien is in their hands.

Piece Out Of Books The Last Days of Lorien (Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files #5)
Really enjoyed this novella.I love the similarities you can see in this book between young Sandor and the later grown-up Nine and that Sandor felt as out of place on Lorien as Nine later felt on Earth. What a great POV to describe the last Days of Lorien in!

I enjoyed this book, as I did the previous 4, so I guess I'll be continuing on in the series, but like my daughter, I'm feeling this is the sort of series to read in fits and starts. I would probably get sick of them if I read all of them one after the other. I think there are something like 20 books in the series.I think the timing of this book which goes back as the title suggests, to the last days of Lorien. I feel it fits better to have read what happens on earth in the first books, before

'The man smiled sadly. "You will be important also," he said. "But you will die."I knew he was right. It was okay, though. We were all going to die. At least I would do it making a difference.'Well, this certainly is the part where I cried.

The story of a young Sandor who would later become Nine's Cepan.Sandor is a rebellious teenager who constantly breaks the rules and his latest punishment completely changes his life.Being an arrogant and surly teenager, Sandor wasn't a character I liked for a big part of the story, but towards the end he redeems himself. Considering his start as a Cepan and knowing how his story ends, he did a pretty good job with Nine.It was interesting getting a bit of insight into the Cepans' background,

Uh. Hmm.Inconsistencies from the previous books: Sandor mentioned having a girlfriend during the invasion and that things were getting serious. Sorry, I didnt feel any chemistry between him and Devektra at all. There werent many pages to deliver that and with the pages that tried, it failed miserably for me. I didnt even like Devektra, especially when she fled the concert venue like that. In Chapter 15, Sandor narrates the Garde ages ranged from infancy to six yo. In LF #3, One states she was

This I think is the one novella in this series that I have rated at four stars so far. I did this because it was terribly hard to follow and confused the heck out of me. I do realize that the point of view that it featured didn't know everything, but I would have really liked to have known more about what was going on. It was interesting though to see how Loric culture was like and how the people were very oblivious to any danger that they ma be in. It was also interesting to see how Sandor

This book reminded me again why I love Lorien Legacies and the spin-off series Lorien Legacies: The Lost Files. The Last Days of Lorien showed insight on how it was like to live in the Planet Lorien before the Mogadorians attacked. What's more interesting is that the story's told from a Cepan's point of view. The main character, Sandor, is not totally likeable. He's a rebel, but a genius rebel at that. He contradicts almost everything and enjoys breaking the rules. While I don't really see the
