This muscal set in 1960's liverpool tells the captivating story of two brothers,Edward and Mickey who were seperated at bith yet somehow found their way back to eachother. This tale highlights the duality of the difference in the rich and poor, shown most clearly in the brothers and their mum, Mrs Johnstone ans Mrs Lyons. Thoughout, the obvious differences in the two gets more clear as they grow up.

I saw a much shortened version of this play as a student-directed, thirty minute piece in college, and have chased it around periodically ever since. I'd found the Original London Cast Album on Spotify and finally located the script through Samuel French. (Obviously I wasn't looking that hard...I'm sure it's available in numerous other places.) Absolutely loved this play.For me it had everything I enjoy in a story: comedy, intricate plot, developed character and an underlying import social message.The story is centered around two fraternal twin brother, Mickey and Edward, which were separated at birth so that at least one of them could live a good life and sparks the debate of nature vs nurture.Whilst the story starts of as light-hearted fun between 3 young friends, as they grow up they all grow further and further apart due to their
