My first five-star read of 2019. I absolutely loved this book and am so glad I finally picked it up

I've stopped 20 pages earlier before the end of the book because I loved it so much that i didn't want it to end, I think it's that kind of book that invite you think about your own story as you feel it so personal and full of confidences about life, friendship and how the people that cross your journey impact your own story

I feel like he ended the book the way he did only because it was difficult to write the rest. It felt lazy, like a 'it was all a dream' ending.

Several things about this book made the reading so fascinating; as a person who was brought up in the Middle East, the narrative was very relatable and realistic and needless to say, elegantly written, the pages just flew. Each character was unique in their own way and depicted a different perspective of life. I was only upset by the ending, I assumed wed know more about the gathering of the friends and another chapter would cover a day full of their catch-up conversations. It couldve ended in a
